Weather for Derby and Derbyshire, 17th August, 2020

Hi guys here is today's weather report, The Met Office reports a damp start for many, with extensive low cloud and some mist. Gradually becoming brighter from the south through the morning, with some warm sunny spells developing, sparking scattered heavy and locally thundery showers. Maximum Temperature 24 °C.

This evening and tonight showers should ease during the evening and overnight to leave most places dry with clear spells, although cloud cover is likely to increase later in the night. Minimum Temperature 12 °C.

According to AccuWeather's hourly forecast we can expect thunderstorms at around 9.00 Am, 2.00 PM, 6.00 PM and 8.00 PM. And The BBC predicts a rainy Thundery day from around 11.00 Am - 8.00 PM so I guess we'll just have to see which report is right.

There are currently no flood warnings or alerts in place throughout Derby and Derbyshire UV and pollen levels are moderate and pollution levels are low. We will keep you updated of any flood alerts for Derby and Derbyshire.
